What do you think? I kinda like collecting game boxes but I don't even have an N64 and I would highly prefer to get a PC game box to add to my collection. Perhaps for the system it released on it was okay, but I wouldn't even recommend playing it. Two teams, virtually no physics and maybe five weapons. They could have had two controller options - a classic-style N64 controller and a Pro-style controller similar to the Brawler64, giving players a choice between accuracy and modern design sensibilities (it'd be more expensive for them, but they're clearly okay with selling a wide range of controllers and some people would of course buy both). The Gameboy Color game is total weak sauce. The graphical fidelity is also low compared to the PC version, with low res sprites, low framerate animations, lacking some VFX/particles, missing animations and so on. Obviously, you're forced to use a controller, but the N64 version also has far fewer settings, for example, a maximum of four teams and four worms per team. This was true even before continued updates. To anyone who hasn't tried the console versions, the PC version is the most feature-rich by a long shot. Heck, Limited Run could've even gone a step further and provide the full quality audio tracks as the ones the game shipped with have lossy compression. I also think there's likely a lot of people who only have a digital copy, either because they got the game long after its release, or because they lost their original copy, so they may want the physical disk version of the game. Also, am fleshing out the code with a usb stick browser using the inbuilt support offered by the ch376. I’ve got data transfer to pc working reliably in both directions now. To me this is a head scratcher because I'm quite confident that anybody who cares about Worms Armageddon nowadays wants the PC version. Have had to switch back to sio for code upload duty as the usb controller is in use for host duties. The thing that struck me is that the two versions they offer are the Nintendo 64 as well as Gameboy Color versions of Worms Armageddon. They offer a mix of modern and old titles. So you get a game in a box with some physical goodies as with other collector's editions of games. I'm not super familiar with them but I believe Limited Run basically partners with publishers to produce limited time, special game copy editions. Just felt like discussing this, haven't seen any place mention it yet
